The
Overall Plan Project Enterprise will be, when it
is done, a complete model of the Enterprise, from the original series. I started
this for two basic reasons; First I wanted to improve my modeling
skills with Rhino, The Best way to improve your skills with something
is so something that you think is just outside your ability. For me that
was Project Enterprise, secondly I think the Enterprise is interesting,
though unappreciated. I intend to have all the major compartments, with
turbolifts and corridors connecting them when I am done.

About
Me My name is
Josh Pike. I am currently going to the Savannah School of Art and Design which
is why there will be long periods of inactivity . Even though I go to
an art school I am not a artsy person, the though of abstract art makes me cringe. When I was in ninth grade I got interested in CAD. And for a while
I wanted to be a architect or some such thing. Then I though that
making houses day in and day out would be boring. About this time I found rhino,
it was a easy transition from AutoCADD. And I found it suited me well.
I started playing around with it, and decided to do computer animation. My professional website is at www.joshuapike.net there is not much there, but then
again I have not got through much of my schooling yet.
Bibliography I would like to take the time here to
recognize the main sources of information for this project
1) All
the screen captures are not my property I give full credit to paramount.
ect...
2) The "Star Trek Blueprints" by Franz Joseph Designs
3)
The "Star Trek Technical Manual" by Franz Joseph, this was where I found
most of my diagrams. Also a few of the diagrams I am using in the
models them selves are altered versions of what is in the book and I give full
credit for them.
